Real Hair Styling head: (partial) restoration help?

The Long Hair Community Discussion Boards - Powered by vBulletin

The school where I work used to run a hairdressing course, which folded a while ago. While I was in the storerooom I spotted their old styling heads which have been crying out to me to be used in a photoshop project ever since. I've borrowed one which will do what I want, and I'm pretty sure its real hair, but after having been mauled about by 15 year olds for a year or so, then left in a cupboard, the hair is very dry and looks more artificial than I want it to. Is there any way to get some life back into the hair on this so it will hang a bit more naturally?
